Goodbye NFL

After many years of watching the NFL on TV it saddens me to say goodbye to the NFL. Upon hearing the commishioner of the NFL was allowing the monster animal abuser Michael Vick back onto the field of honor, I was forced to decide which is more important, the game or standing up for what is morraly right.

Being a lover of the "bully" breeds I cannot understand what would create a vile creature that would place these wonderful dogs in conditions which would turn them into killing machines. Only poor breeding and abuse creates a fighting dog.

Michael Vick bankrolled an intentional breeding system for creating mean dogs and he and his homies tortured them to ensure they would fight. Those who lost had jumper cables attached to their ears and genitals and were thrown into a pool to be killed. These dogs did not die willingly. from all acounts I have heard and read there are deep gouges in the sides of the pool where they tried to climb out diging their nails into the surface.

What does it say about the NFL and it's supporters that Vick only does 18 months of jail time, says I'm sorry and is allowed to bring his happy self back to the playing field? Nothing is being done to ensure he has changed. He does not have to earn his second chance. Even Walmart will not hire Vick due to their morality clause and the fact Vick is a CONVICTED FELLON. The NFL has fewer scruples than Walmart it seems.

I have an American Staffordshire Terrier, and American Pit Bull Terrier and a boxer mix. The Amstaff and the pit have free roam all the time even among the 3 cats, 3 rabbits and 11 birds in my house with no problems other than puffing up and trying to intimidate the others. The neutered male cat rules the roost and frequently does an attitude adjustment on the Pit and Amstaff.
